Katie is from Kentucky, where she lives with her husband and their ten (yes, ten) pets. Writing has always been her passion, all the way back to her middle school days writing fanfic of Meg Cabot characters. After years of trying to find her voice as a writer, Katie finally found her home writing queer romances that focus heavily on mental health and learning how to keep going.

 

Her favorite quote is from Mr. Rogers: “Anything that’s human is mentionable, and anything that is mentionable can be more manageable.” It’s a sentiment that Katie strives to share in her books, in the hopes even just one person is able to find their voice after reading.
